For me, It's EBURY STREET, and its multiple bookshops, ST. PAUL'S CATHEDRAL, (The Mother Cathedral of St. Paul's, San Diego), ST. PAUL'S, COVENT GARDEN...."The Actor's Church" and the FANTASTIC BRITISH FILM INSTITUTE....the "Aladdin's Cave" for anyone who loves Classic, British Film. It's also a TREASURE for any fan of BRITISH CHARACTER ACTORS.....from John Abbott, all the way to George Zucco!
Last, but NEVER Least..... it's feeling the sidewalk quiver under your feet, at hearing "BIG BEN's" voice....telling me to hurry home for supper!
I spent 30 years in London. The last 20 were spent living and working in Kensington, Notting Hill Gate & Holland Park. I love walking the streets with all the beautiful garden squares. My favourite to which we had a key was in Ladbroke Square, with it's 7 acres of green space. You can't beat Portobello and Golborne Road!
